We have been extremely fortunate at PLUSH.  During the past few months since we’ve started our blog, we’ve partnered with so many wonderful companies to bring you incredible giveaways, and heartfelt reviews to make sure that our lives as moms and dads can be even better than they already are.  But now, it’s time to give.  We’re honored to be partnered with GENEROSITY WATER, a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to ending the clean water crisis in developing countries, like Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia, Liberia, Haiti, Bangladesh, and many more.

Founded by pastor Philip Wagner of Oasis Church, him and his son Jordan, Generosity Water’s Executive Director, with their team visited more than 17 countries and found that “unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation cause 80% of all sickness and disease in the world, and kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war.  To be exact, 3.6 million people die annually from the lack of water.”  Futher, “272 million school days are lost every year simply because children are often spending more than 4 hours every day fetching water instead of going to school.  If they have a water well in their village, they could go to school, get an education, which could lead to a better job and ultimately a brighter future.” – Generosity Water

Children walk miles and miles every day to fetch water from an unclean source, that inevitably lead to illness and many times death.  Of the 9,800 deaths that occur EVERY DAY from unsafe water, 84% are of children under 14 years old.

That is why PLUSH is dedicated to help end the clean water crisis, and we’re very grateful for organization like GENEROSITY WATER.  We ask for all of our readers to join us on this journey by clicking this link.  By building wells in these underdeveloped countries, we’re able to provide clean water and literally SAVE LIVES.  Seriously, can you imagine living without clean, not to mention safe water?
