Some of the biggest challenges in motherhood is to find that perfect carrier for your infant.  So we had one of our PLUSH moms test out the Baby K’tan, and we must say that it’s definitely become one of our favorites!  Here’s what she had to say:

We’ve all heard about the benefits of wearing your baby — it promotes bonding with your little one and, of course, it allows you to go hands-free so you can get a few things done around the house. But when I recently became a mom, never did I think it would be so difficult to find a carrier or a sling that I could easily figure out. Fortunately the Baby K’tan saved my life.

Now, I consider myself to be pretty savvy when it comes to following directions, but I had some challenges figuring out how to use some of the baby wraps out there. Wrapping all of that fabric around my body so that it wasn’t too tight or too loose was tough, and then to have to do it each and every time you want to wear your baby seemed like such a hassle. Enter the Baby K’tan, which requires no tying or wrapping. The wrap is presized and “prewrapped” with two loops and a connecting loop that acts as a back support so all you have to do is slip it on, and voila! All the work is done for you. And you can use all of the usual holds as with other wraps — the cradle hold, hip carry and kangaroo position are just three of at least seven you can use. My baby was pretty happy in it, and so was I because I could easily get it on and off quickly.

So if you’re looking for a sling-style carrier with the ease of operating it like a structured front carrier, this may just be your answer!  - Lily

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!  In lieu of LOVE day, we’d like to share with you some gorgeous photos of printables and table setting by the fabulous Anna and Blue Paperie!  This “All You Need is Love” collection can be purchased on their lovely Etsy site.  Be sure to check out all of their other printables for all your party planning needs!!

Stephanie of Anna and Blue Paperie gives us all the details of this gorgeous setting: “With February around the corner, I wanted to create a Valentine Themed Party table that could be styled for a children’s or adult party.  The printable collection is versatile so that it can be used for a Valentine’s Party, Baby Shower, Wedding Shower and more!  My goal was to create a party that was affordable.  Many items were easy DIY creations including the popcorn cones, chair covers, paper fan accents, and cupcake liner flowers. The girls held on to the DIY cupcake liner flowers with lollipop sticks that were a fun activity we made one afternoon.  Boxes were wrapped with wrapping paper to give the centerpiece and apothecary candy filled jars some height.  A ribbon was added for a little, yet simple decorative touch.  I filled the centerpiece vase with fiberfill that I had left over from a recent sewing project.  It gave the look of snow with the sparkly branches.  The fan accents on the apothecary jars were made with pearlized paper that were cut into small strips, folded accordion style, turned into a circle and then hot glued in place. A garland was created for the children’s table by adding party scallop circles from the printable collection to ribbon. The backdrop fabric was my daughter’s sheet purchased from the Shabby Chic collection at Target. The backdrop paper was from Pottery Barn Kids and was also used to wrap the boxes under the apothecary jars. The linen used for the dessert table was from our guest room that was purchased at Bed Bath and Beyond.”
