Victorian Halloween
Today, we celebrate Halloween with this elegant Victorian Halloween party, and I must say, I am totally diggin’ this gorgeous, tastefully done party setting that has just the right touch of spookiness along with beauty. Created by the uber talented Sweets Indeed, they wanted to created something that “didn’t necessarily scream Halloween but had a subtle creepiness to it, (and) drew inspiration from the Victorian era and tapped into our inner haunted mansion.” Marie, the owner, explains all the wonderful details of this beautiful party:
We had the pleasure of using some fabulous pieces from Found Vintage Rentals. The wrought iron gate reminded me of European architecture and the side table, chair, picture frame, urn, and typewriter provided the perfect props for our escort card table. It’s amazing what some vintage props can do. Gorgeous and timeless. After handcrafting our black lace backdrop and dessert stands, we decided on desserts for the more mature palette and made creme brulee in chocolate dishes, tiramisu, lavender ginger cookies, decorated lemon sugar cookies, monster-tini’s and an assortment of candy take away treats.
Happy Halloween, everyone! Enjoy!!

The two-tiered cake was made by Rebecca Lehman of Heavenscent Cakes and became a focal point for the Sweet Station.

We even adorned the center of our candy bar wrappers with a sticker from the Martha StewartHalloween collection.

Scrumptious Halloween
Halloween’s just around the corner, and we’re so excited to be sharing this wonderful Halloween dessert table, created by the incredibly creative dessert table specialist Shauna of Shauna Younge Dessert Tables in Minneapolis! With photos gorgeously taken by Emily Steffen, Shauna also teamed up with Bethany Hway of Emmy Lu Design Studio and b*spoke, who did the invitation and styling. What’s truly amazing abou this feature is that Shauna created the entire dessert table from what she found at her local Super Target store! Yes, can you believe it?! Read below to see how Shauna did it!

Directly from Shauna: “The Totally Target Halloween dessert table is just that. A dessert table designed using ingredients, supplies, dishware, and desserts that are all available right now at your local Super Target. Target’s black cake stands make the perfect pedestals for two great cakes. Target’s bat cookie cutters and black sparkly decorating icing (in the baking aisle) add flourish to this chocolate cake. Target’s white and milk chocolate truffles and candy corn go along with the chocolate-covered rice crispy treat tombstones and chocolate-covered Oreos I made.” For more information, visit Shauna’s blog. AND an extra little treat for you! Visit the lovely blog Twig & Thistle for DIY downloads of the Halloween Invite, Brownie Pop Flags & Candy Bar Wrappers, and the pretty b*spoke blog for the Wrap Around Labels that you see here!
